environmental performance. Part of the ISO 14000 Series of standards: ISO 14004:1996
contains guidelines on principles, systems and supporting techniques.
ISO/TS 16949:2002: technical specification, particular requirements for the application
of ISO 9001:2000 for automotive production and relevant service part organizations.
For use throughout the automotive supply chain, the American and European automobile manufacturers endorse this standard.
ISO/IEC 17799:2000: code of practice for information security management. Not yet system requirements, this standard is related to the British Standard BS 7799-2:2002:
information security management systems – specifications with guidance for use.
ISO/IEC 17025:1999: general requirements
for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
ISO 13485:2003: For regulatory purposes - quality management system
requirements relating to medical devices.
